Fluidrive today is one of Australia's most experienced, respected and successful specialists in the service and repair of automatic transmissions.

How we started
Our success is due to the vision of our Managing Director, Joe Shneider. As far back as the 1950's Joe saw that automatic transmissions would become increasingly popular.

He was among the very first in Australia to undertake specialised training in automatic transmission repair and service. In 1963, a year after completing training at Richmond Technical College, Joe opened the first Fluidrive workshop.

In 1996, Fluidrive’s proven track record & commitment to quality enabled the company to win a contract to remanufacture transmissions for a major OEM’s Warranty Program.

To provide dedicated resources for our OEM customers, Fluidrive Automotive Technologies Pty Ltd was established, achieving both ISO 9001 and QS-9000 certification the following year.

Our Success
From humble beginnings way back in 1963, there is no question that Fluidrive’s
success is due to its decision to embrace “Quality” as a system embedded in to the way we do things, to continuously meet or exceed our customer expectations.

Independent external auditor, SAI Global Assurance Services, conducts regular audits. All audits since our certification have been passed without any significant issues.

 

Fluidrive Today
Fluidrive Automotive Technologies Pty Ltd currently employs 26 full and part-time employees, with a total of over 40,000 square feet of plant and warehousing space dedicated to provide warranty support services for several major vehicle OEM’s.

The warranty support services include remanufacturing, root cause analysis and logistics, providing a one - stop shop solution with associated cost savings.
